Anthem for the Underdog by 12 Stones

Summary

Anthem for the Underdog is the third album by the rock band 12 Stones. It was released on August 14, 2007. The first single "Lie to Me", was made available on 12 Stones' MySpace and official website along with the second single "Anthem For The Underdog", which was used in the movie Never Back Down. Both singles charted in the top 30 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, while "It Was You" charted in the top 10 on Christian Rock charts. The third single, "Adrenaline", was the theme song for the Met-Rx World's Strongest Man competition in 2007.

The song "World So Cold" was used in a tribute video found on YouTube for the victims of the Virginia Tech massacre shooting. In a bulletin posted on the band's MySpace page, the band said that they were surprised the song surfaced because it had not been released.

The track "Broken Road" was co-written with the former American Idol contestant and Daughtry frontman Chris Daughtry.

The videos for "Adrenaline" and "Anthem for the Underdog" use clips from the movies Rambo and Never Back Down, respectively.

Anthem for the Underdog debuted at number 53 on the Billboard 200.
